Mahogany Timber

This high-quality mahogany timber is supplied by GreenTimber Uganda Ltd, sourced from sustainably managed forests in Masindi District, Western Uganda. The timber is harvested from mature mahogany trees, known for their strength, durability, and rich reddish-brown appearance, making it highly suitable for premium construction and woodworking applications.

The wood is professionally processed, kiln-dried to a moisture content of approximately 10–12%, and cut into standard sizes of 2x4 ft, 2x6 ft, and custom lengths up to 12 ft, ensuring stability and resistance to warping or cracking. It features a fine, straight grain with a smooth finish, offering excellent workability for both machine and hand tools.

Each batch is graded according to East African Timber Standards (EATS) and undergoes strict quality control during harvesting, seasoning, and packaging to ensure uniformity and reliability. The timber also demonstrates natural resistance to termites and decay, making it suitable for both interior and semi-exterior applications.
